We are here (Radio Dance)

We are here - Is a radio dance. It is choreographed speech and just like the words, the sounds and objects are also dancing.

Inspired by John Cages Lecture on Nothing Inga and Rósa use objects to create sounds to accompany the words and content of the lecture. They suggest situations and paint pictures with the sounds of the objects in the manner of foley artists.

Radio Dance was initially created for a radio broadcast at Reykjavík Dancefestival and was performed again live at the finissage of the exhibition Not Really Really, a collection of Frederick Goldschmidt (Brussels).
